Learning Takes Root
Farmers’ markets are community gathering spaces and places of informal learning. CAFM offers a limited amount of space to events and activities on most market days. Our preferred partners are other nonprofits, OSU, local governments and their contractors, and other community events.
We focus on subject areas that include food and nutrition, gardening, agriculture, human and animal health, art, history, reading, soil and water conservation/quality, and other science relevant to the natural world. We strongly encourage organizations to propose interactive events.

Promoting food security, reduced food waste, and education on safe, modern canning, freezing, dehydrating and fermentation techniques. FREE pressure canning gauge testing available at our booth, so don't forget to bring your pressure canning gauge.
