We are posting a list of online, delivery & pickup options to obtain local foods. The purpose is to help local small farms and anyone who is not able to attend farmers’ markets.
Listings are just vendors who have responded (not all market vendors), plus a few non-vendors we added below our vendors.
Thanks to some quick volunteer assistance, we have added the brief product description from our vendor database for each vendor, plus some product category columns. Now you don’t have to know all those farm names to find what you are after!
CAFM is creating an online pre-order system with pickup at farmers’ market sites. This would be in addition to any systems farmers establish for themselves. We plan to open it in May.
Our goal is not to replace farmers’ markets but to speed up market visits so that we can do a stellar job of 6 foot social distancing.
