My husband and I have 45 acres of pasture/farmland just outside of Dallas, OR. We pasture raise pigs, cows and chickens from start to finish using clean practices; no antibiotics, no added hormones, no confinement. Each animal is fed an appropriate diet for their species; cows get grass, hay and other forages, pigs get pasture in addition to a daily ration of grain, vitamins and minerals. Chickens are also pastured and receive a mixed grain ration fortified with vitamins and minerals. On occasion we also bring apples or grapes from our "no spray" orchard trees and vines.
