Learning Takes Root
Farmers’ markets are community gathering spaces and places of informal learning. CAFM offers a limited amount of space to events and activities on most market days. Our preferred partners are other nonprofits, OSU, local governments and their contractors, and other community events.
We focus on subject areas that include food and nutrition, gardening, agriculture, human and animal health, art, history, reading, soil and water conservation/quality, and other science relevant to the natural world. We strongly encourage organizations to propose interactive events.

Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at GSRMC

The trauma team and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is looking forward to providing community education regarding our two most frequent causes of traumatic injuries: ground level falls and motor vehicle collisions. Through our Get a Grip fall prevention campaign we'll be handing out free gripper socks to those who come chat with us.
