Benton COUNTY, OREGON

Territorial Road Orchard is a small family-operated orchard just south of Corvallis. It was an orchard initially planted in the late 1940s or early 1950s. We purchased the property in 2004 and named the orchard in spring 2005. Since that time we have added several new trees and top-grafted some of the older trees to new varieties. We use sustainable growing techniques, following the same rules as certified organic growers. The trees are largely dry-farmed; new trees are irrigated until they are established. Most of the electricity used for farming purposes comes from a solar PV array installed in 2011. In addition to local farmers' markets, we also sell to First Alternative Co-op, to area hard cider makers, at the annual Fill Your Pantry event, and on the farm. Special orders are welcome!
